A trip back in time

Bár a fentebb idézett is egy igen jó nóta, mégsem tehetek be 2 napon belül két Asteroids Galaxy Tour-t... :) Ezért a választás egy olyan dalra esett, ami hangulatában idézi meg a Golden Age-et: cabaret, new swing, Greenskeepers. Na meg az istennő Dita von Teese.

A mai hangulat egy szóval: BURLESQUE. Itt most nem a Charlie Chaplin-féle filmekre, vagy Christina Aguilera legújabb mozijára kell gondolni, hanem a 20-as évek éjszakai mulatóinak showműsoraira. 

Aki ismer, tudja mennyire odavagyok ezért a nőért, illetve az általa képviselt irányzatért. 

Anyukám színész-énekesnő, így kislányként sok időt töltöttem a színházi öltözők lenyűgöző világában, sminkasztalok, jelmezek és díszletek közt, ami a mai napig nagy hatással van rám. 

A burlesque kelléktárát csillogó ékszerek, revüruhák, sejtelmes fehérneműk, cilinderek, boák és kesztyűk alkotják. Mivel nem csak csodálva figyelem, hanem gyűjtöm is ezeket, alig várom a holnapi napot, hiszen meghívást kaptam egy üzlettől egy zártkörű kincsvadászatra...

Annyit ígérhetek, hogy a holnapi post rendhagyó lesz... készüljetek! :)

Although the quoted one above is also a pretty good song, I can't post two Asteroids Galaxy Tour in a row :) So for now, I've chosen a melody that evokes the Golden Age: cabaret, new swing, Greenskeepers. And, of course, the goddess Dita von Teese.
Today's mood in one word is BURLESQUE. Now it's not about the Charlie Chaplin films or  the latest movie from Christina Aguilera, but the marvellous nightclub shows of the 20's.

If you know me you may know that I'm a huge fan of this woman, and all what she represents.

My mum is an actress and singer, so I spent a major part of my childhood in the enthralling world of theatre dressing rooms, among makeup tables, costumes and scenery, which still has a great impact on me. 

Burlesque props include sparkling jewels, revue dresses, sexy underwear, cylinders, boas and gloves. As I'm not only watching with admiration, but also collecting them, I can't wait for tomorrow, since I've got an invitation from a shop to a special, private treasure hunt... 

I can promise that the next post is going to be extraordinary... get ready for it!
